Playroom & Bedroom - Rochdale

The client was had ask us to make use out of their currently cluttered basement and turn it into a space that their two daughters aged 9 & 13 can enjoy and grow into.

The idea behind this design was to not only make the basement into a space for the girls, but to make it into a space for family and friend to stay over the holidays. That's why it was important to make the space into a small flat with livingroom, ensuite and a kitchenette.

"We hired Sarah to redesign the full lower ground floor of our house, converting it to a studio flat for our two girls (9 and 13). Sarah's came up with an amazing design that both girls loved, and gave us real flexibility for the future and will take a currently underused space and make it a real asset to our home in terms of lifestyle and hopefully future value. She was so patient, accommodating and managed to create an amazing concept remotely, and overcome our very quirky 250+ year old house and the fact that nothing is straight or even or at a right angle!
