1930's Renovation-Woking

The renovation of a 1930s interior is a captivating journey back in time. The 1930s marked a distinctive era in interior design, characterized by Art Deco influences, geometric patterns, and a focus on luxury and functionality. This renovation project aimed to preserve the essence of the period while integrating modern amenities for a seamless blend of past and present.

Preservation of original architectural elements, such as doors, crown mouldings, and hardwood flooring, was a priority. Bold and contrasting colours like deep blues and greens were chosen, often in combination with metallic accents like gold or silver. Cream or ivory served as the base colour for walls, allowing for the vibrant furniture and décor to pop.
